Fannie Mae to Change Mortgage Help Center Model

Fannie Mae’s Mortgage Help Centers, located in communities hit hardest by the housing crisis, have served thousands of struggling borrowers since 2010. However, demand is now greatest for telephone support, so Fannie Mae is transitioning to telephone and email support through Fannie Mae-staffed regional call centers. Local non-profit housing partners in the Mortgage Help Center Network will continue to provide face-to-face customer support.
